Coming Home

 July 9th, 2017 – James Roberson

Overcoming shame is a battle within the heart. Far too often, believers can presume that there is a type of sin that God finds so egregious that He can no longer associate with you. In this first habit, we will study coming back to God’s presence no matter what.

Walking By His Side

 July 16th, 2017 – James Roberson

God’s presence isn’t meant to be encountered in the morning when you wake up and at night when you go to bed. The presence of the Lord isn’t quarantined to a temple or a church building. God wants to be experienced moment by moment throughout the day. The second habit to be studied is the moment by moment habit of walking in the Spirit.

Run to the Tension

 July 23rd, 2017 – James Roberson

In every community, there will be friction. Personalities will not always mesh together perfectly and conflicts will arise. As a believer, our heartbeat should be to find the way to create peace as opposed to letting the tension live. The third habit is resolving conflict with your brother or sister quickly.

Safe Friendships

 July 30th, 2017 – James Roberson

Trust is the cornerstone of deep relationships. It’s also the place where you will feel heard and cared for, while at the same time be challenged. The fourth habit is cultivating safe relationships you can be accountable to.

Telling Your Story

 August 13th, 2017 – James Roberson

Your story is a miracle. No two stories are the same and God has allowed you to go through uniqe experinces to give Him glory. Yet telling a story and leaving out the Hero leaves a reader without hope. We must learn how to boldly share the story of Jesus through our lives. The fifth habit is learning to share our faith without fear.

A Generous Heart

 August 20th, 2017 – James Roberson

God has given every believer abundance. God has blessed us in the area of time, talents and financial treasures. We are called to make it our aim to render our lives back to Him in gratitude. The sixth habit is cultivating a generous heart.

Joy In All Circumstances

 August 27th, 2017 – James Roberson

Life can be incredibly tragic and unfair. We will run ourselves ragged trying to make sense of why God allows different experiences and trails in life. The great challenge of the BIble is to not only trust God through trials but to make it your aim to have joy in whatever trial comes your way. The seventh and last habit is joy in trails.
